Become A Member
We are excited you are interested in becoming part of the Sozo family!
What is the Purpose of Membership?
Commitment to God and the local church brings freedom, that’s exactly how we see church membership at SOZO FULL GOSPEL. Becoming a member of a local church is a bold statement of faithfulness to a body of believers; it is an outward sign of an inward dedication to walking with and investing in a community who desires to follow Jesus every day. Committing to membership offers stability for families as well as the church as a whole. It says to the world, “We support and love one another. We stand united in building the Kingdom of God. We want to follow Jesus every day in and through the SOZO family.”
How Do I Become A Member?
Joining the SOZO FULL GOSPEL family is a simple process, one that you may have started without even knowing it! There are three main requirements for membership: Believe, Repent, and Follow.
Believe, Repent, Follow
Are you a follower of Christ? Has there ever been a time in your life where you have surrendered to God’s call to Himself, confessed your sin, and believed and accepted the grace of Jesus Christ for salvation? Have you ever been baptized in public observance of your new faith? If these are new concepts to you, don’t worry! We would love to talk with you more about what it means to be born again into Christ’s family and to take part in the ordinance of baptism.
Connect
God designed all human beings and especially His church to flourish within the bonds of community. We encourage every prospective member to find and cheerfully invest in an area of interest, lending your time, talent, and experience to benefit the church’s mission and vision and where they can grow consistently in the wisdom, knowledge, and grace of God with other SOZO FULL GOSPEL members. We are so much stronger together than we are alone.
Engage
We expect our members to commit themselves to furthering the work and ministry of the church. This could include volunteering regularly in one of our programs or services, participating in outreach to the local community and abroad, tithing regularly and cheerfully investing in other areas of need, lending your time, talent, and experience to benefit the church’s mission and vision.
